How much does a garden design cost?
Consultation EUR 200 (90 minutes on site). Garden study from EUR 1,400. Complete design from EUR 4,000. Prices are fixed upfront, never hourly. Details on Services.
How long does the design take?
Garden study 3–4 weeks from commission. Complete design 8–12 weeks. With construction supervision we continue during the build, typically 3–6 months.
What if I change my mind after the study?
The study is a standalone package. If you don't proceed with the complete design, the contract ends — no penalty. If you continue, the study fee is deducted from the design fee.
Do you build gardens yourselves?
No. We work with a carefully selected network of construction partners. We recommend a firm suited to your project and — on request — provide author's supervision over construction.
Do you work outside Prague?
Yes. We design throughout the Czech Republic and Austria. For projects outside Prague we plan one travel day per month. Travel costs beyond 30 km are billed separately.
What's included in the documentation?
1:100 site plan, sections, planting plan, plant list with quantities, material specifications, construction details (walls, steps, terraces), build budget, 5–8 visualizations. Printed and digital.
How does copyright work?
Almé is the author of the design. The client receives a license to build the specific garden. Almé reserves the right to present the realization in the portfolio — always by agreement and with discretion preserved.
Can you work with an existing garden?
Yes. With renovations, we work with existing trees and elements as part of the composition. It's often a stronger story than a garden on a green field.
